Skegness Football Funds 2011

Skegness Football Funds 2011 takes place on Sunday 21st August. Last years successful event,(That raised over £1500 for The Butterfly Hospice), returns bigger and better than ever.

This year we are raising funds for Lincolnshire's branch of Macmillan Cancer Support as well as Boston's Butterfly Hospice,(providing care for terminally ill patients). Recently opened by Princess Anne.

Skegness All Star football team,(made up of a mixture of locals), take on The Skegness Town Legends Team for The Target Series Skegness Football Funds Trophy. Last year a gripping match saw The All Stars win by 4:3. This year, along with all the stalls, entertainments, evening party show and large raffle comes the Re-match. The grudge match.

Bringing together a whole community and town to raise money specifically for Cancer causes benefiting the county/area, Skegness Football Funds is back.

This year, attending the event, will be The Early Presentation of Cancer Project.
